Polish Government Officials Acknowledge IRLA Contributions
A six-member delegation from Poland met with members of the International Religious Liberty Association Nov. 21 to discuss the IRLA's ongoing contributions in the field of religious freedom and human rights.

Visitors included representatives from the Polish Prime Minister's Office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who came to the IRLA headquarters in Silver Spring, Maryland as part of a program sponsored by the U.S. State Department.

"The visit provided a great opportunity for dialogue and for the development of mutual understanding," commented IRLA secretary general John Graz. "Our visitors were particularly interested in the situation for religious freedom in Nigeria and the Sudan, as well as continuing challenges in Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan."
